GRAND AMERICAN MODIFIEDS OFFERED RICH PURSE INCREASE AT STOCKTON 99 SPEEDWAY
Stockton 99 speedway announced May 18th that effective immediately the Grand American Modified Division at the Stockton 99 Speedway will pay $2000.00 to win and $300.00 to last place in any 50 lap main event for the balance of the 2006 season. Semi main event monies have also been increased and this all totals $12,165.00. The only requirement is there must be 30 race ready GAM Division cars at the track on any given night for eligibility.
Track promoter Ken Clapp pointed out that there have been over 50 of these class cars present at one track in the last nine months and sees no reason why the modified races would not want to take advantage of this lucrative offering.
