Simplicity is the key:
Track Officials will make the final decision of interpretation and the intended spirit of these rules. Must be a minimum of 16 years of age and is a NASCAR member to compete. Driver eligibility to compete will be determined by speedway Officials.

Safety:
Only NASCAR Approved helmets will be allowed –SA-2000, or better. No “M” type helmets. Driver fire suites are Mandatory, and must be kept clean and in good repair. A quick release seat belt and shoulder harness no less than three - inches wide is compulsory, as well as an anti-submarine (crotch) belt. The belts must be attached to the frame or cage and a 1/8-inch (or larger) safety cable installed as a backup. The Officials will inspect them and you will not race if they are not fastened securely. Belts will need to be in a three-year window of date that it was manufactured. Racing Seats are Mandatory, No fiber glass seats will be allowed. Long hair cannot be exposed (visible outside of helmet). All hands must be inside the driver compartment at all times, for there safety. After a warning, first offense is subject to a $25.00 fine. Second offense is subject to a fine and suspension. Windows nets must be securely fastened and have a tight fit with the quick release facing the driver. (No fine mesh window nets allowed) Racing gloves are Mandatory. Nomex socks or shoes are highly recommended.

Fire Extinguisher:
1. Are required in all cars an mounted securely, and have a quick release latch for use by the driver.


Competing Vehicles:
1. Any American manufactured two-door or four-door sedan, convertible. No jeeps, trucks, van or station wagons. No four-wheel drive vehicles. Only vehicles with 105” to 112” wheelbase or those approved by Speedway officials allowed. After market wheel studs will be only thing allowed.

Roll Cages:
1. Four-point short track roll cages designed for the safety of the driver in case of a rollover or side impact. The driver’s head must have 2-inch clearance from the bottom of the roll cage. Tubing must be one and three-quarter inch by .095 steel outside dimension. No galvanized or black pipe.

Safety Bars: (See Diagram on last Page)

Bodies:
1. Remove all glass from doors. Cover any holes that are in the firewall. Weld all doors shut. Remove all other glass and outside chrome trim including door handles, turn lights, taillights, etc. Windshields must be Lexan Only. Front fenders wells may be removed and driver’s side inner door panels can be removed for door bars-but you must maintain original door skin.

2. Frames, and firewall, and interior floor pan must be in its OEM stock condition and truck area must be in original condition.

3. One Mirror of any kind allowed.

4. Aluminum or sheet metal rear spoilers will be allowed, no higher than 6”.

5. No fiberglass body parts allowed.

6. No sharp edges or protruding parts.

7. Replacement panels from performance bodies will be allowed. This includes only street stock bodies only. This includes steel quarter panels, steel doors, steel fenders, and plastic nosepieces and tailpieces.

8. No late model sportsman body pieces allowed.

Identification:
1. Cars must use numbers assigned by Stockton 99 Speedway.

2. To pre-register car contact (209-369-7332) for number availability.

3. Door numbers must be minimum of 18 inches excluding borders and silhouettes with a minimum 4 inch width, and readable from the passenger side.

4. Roof numbers must be minimum of 24 inches excluding borders and silhouettes with a minimum 4 inch width and readable from the passenger side.

5. Numbers must also be placed on the right side in both the tail light and head light area 4inch minimum.

6. A one-inch contrasting border or outline recommended on all roof and door numbers.

7. Foil or reflective numbers are not allowed. Car numbers must be kept in neat appearing condition.


Weight:

1. 3100 lbs. Minimum WITH driver & maximum 58% left side weight WITH driver. Driver’s skinning car too much will receive a weight penalty at Chief Steward discretion.

Lead Weight:
1. All added weight must be in block form and bolted in safe manner per Official’s approval. Added weight must also be painted white and clearly marked with the car number & ALSC STAMPED on it. No block will be less than five pounds. Violations of this rule will result in penalties at the discretion of the Chief Steward.

Ride Height:
1. Minimum 5-inches of frame clearance with Driver.

Bumpers:
1. You can weld the brackets that bolt to the bumper to the frame. Put a ¼-inch cable or chain around the bumper so if it gets knocked loose it won’t fall on the racetrack. Weld or bolt a piece of flat stock from the end of the bumper to the fender to keep from hooking other cars.This does not replace the need for cables or chain.
Note: A tube bumper may be used for the cars using a plastic nose and tail bumper covers.

Fuel Cell:
1. Racing Fuel Cell Mandatory, but trunk area must retain original trunk area. A rollover check valve or coiled tubing must be mounted to the gas tank air vent at its highest point.

Fuel Lines:
1. All fuel lines in cockpit area must be in the following materials.
A. Stainless Steel Braided Racing Hose
B. High flow Aluminum Fuel Lines
C. Fiber Braid reinforced synthetic Rubber Liner
D. Fuel shut off valve Mandatory.

Shocks:
One shock absorber per wheel is permitted. Only STEEL TWIN TUBE – NON EXTERNAL ADJUSTIABLE SHOCK allowed. No coil over shocks allowed.
A. QA1- Steel twin tube Stock Mount Steel Shocks SERIES will be allowed.
B. Shocks that are in questioned must have Official’s approval before they will be allowed on any car.
C. No MONO-TUBE shocks will be allowed.

Steel Bushing:
1. There will be no steel bushing allowed in the upper, lower control arms, upper and lower rear trailing arms and leaf springs. (Polyurethane bushing will be allowed.) No rear slider mounting points for leaf springs allowed that could alter leaf spring OEM factory standards. It will be up S99S officials determine what is OEM, this will non-protestable.


Suspensions:
All suspension components must remain in the original factory locations & it OEM parts.
No weight jacks
But coil-spring adjuster will be allowed to achieve ride height only.
Lower blocks will be allowed.
After market springs allowed.
6. Adjustable leaf spring hangers allowed on rear only.
Tires and Rims:
1. 2005 Spec tire for pure stock will be American racer P265/60D-15. YOU W ILL ALSO BE ALLOWED TO RUN THE AMERICAN RACER G60-15, ONLY USED/TAKE OFFS FROM THE GA MODIFIEDS. DO NOT PURCHASE NEW G60-15. All competing cars will not exceed 78” track width. It will be measured from bulge outside of tire. Rims must have same offset on RF., RR. Same goes for the left side LF. LR. No front rim can be different than rear rim. A ½ inch wheel spacer will be allowed, but you must have same from front to back on sides that you use them on. Size wheel spacer can not be different. No rim will be greater than 15x8. Spec tire AND THE G60-15 must have McCoy seal on them.

Transmission:
1. All production automatics allowed must have a 10-inch or larger torque converter. Must have working forward and reverse gear. No hallow torque converter allowed

Standard Transmissions:
1. Only an OEM transmission such as Munci or Sagnaw will be allowed. Clutch must be standard style only 10 ½ inch or larger.

Flywheel must be OEM style. ( Steel Only )

Steering:
1. Steering columns must be collapsible with a minimum of 3 inches of travel.

Engines:
Maximum cubic-inch 360
Maximum compression 10-to-one
Flat top piston only
No Roller Cams.
All cars must have mufflers and meet the 95 decimal rule.
No ANGLE HEADS OR VORTEX HEADS; ALL OEM CAST IRON HEADS WILL BE ALLOWED.
Any OEM cast iron manifold allowed, notching will be allowed as long as it safely done.
No aluminum intakes allowed. No porting, grinding or polishing of any kind allowed.
Engine must remain in OEM Stock Location.
No after market roller rocker, or roller tip rockers allowed. But after market rocker studs, poly-locks or stud girdles and push rod guide plates will be allowed.
Crank Height – A minimum crank shaft height of 13 inches from center of crankshaft to the ground.
NO HEADERS

Ignition:
1. Stock ignition only, No after market high performance ignition upgrades grades allowed.

Battery:
1. May be moved into the passenger compartment. It must be firmly secured to the floor. 2. No plastic battery boxes. One automotive battery per car.

Fuel: Track racing gasoline only.

Carburetor:
All cars must use a Holley #4412 only.
No air boxes allowed.
A maximum one-inch spacer allowed ALL CARB’S MUST HAVE STUDS. Note carburetor studs must come up threw intake, and threw spacer and carb.
All cars must be equipped with a dry element type air cleaner. No K&N filter allowed. Maximum height-Four-inches; maximum diameter-17-inches.

Rear-Ends:
Must from same make and model as car. No posi or limited slip rear-ends allowed. A mini-spool will be allowed or welding of gears will be allowed.

After market axles will be allowed, but no gun drilled or lighted one’s allowed.

All drive shafts must be painted white with two safety loops made of at least one-quarter by two-inch steel strap six-inch front and rear.

4. Rear end tech is not subject to protest.

Claim Rule:
1. $650.00 for an engine swap, plus $50.00 for the tow truck operator. Engine claims can only be made by driver finishing the main event on the lead lap, be in the top ten in points and be deemed legal. All main event cars are claimable and must report to the claim area. The first person to the official in the claim area with the cash gets the engine. If you do not give up your engine when it is claimed, you lose all points earned that night, and driver and car will be suspended for 4 race weeks that there division races and will be fine $200.00.
