Stockton 99 Speedway
2003 PRO-4 TIRE RULE
Scope-Stockton 99 Speedway will endeavor to dramatically lower the cost associated with racing by limiting the amount of the any competitor may purchase at any given race event.
Approved Tires: Only Stockton 99 Speedway approved tires purchased from an authorized dealer and properly marked and recorded by Nascar Officials will be permitted in practice and competition.
Tire: American Racer Size: 26x8.0 and 26x8.0-15 sh
Requirements & Guidelines: On opening day of the race season,each competitor who has a truck in the pits that competes or attempts to compete in the event may have a maximum of Six ( 6 ) tires branded for competition. The Six ( 6 ) tires that branded for competition may be in any combination of New or Used Tires.In the event that a competitors first appearance at Stockton 99 Speedway is after opening day,that competitor may have Six ( 6 ) tires branded for competitions in any combination New or Used up until June 14th.After June 28th. Any new competitor after Jun 28th may have Five ( 5 ) New or Used tires branded.At each Nascar sanctioned event,each competitor who has a car ready and eligible for competition will be allowed to brand One ( 1 ) for competition after that competitors first appearance.
Tires Check In Time: Tires must be marked before 4:00pm on all events except opening day.Any tire not marked 4:00pm will not be run for that event.No carry over will be allowed.If you are going to buy tires at the track,decide early enough to have them branded.Drivers changes or Car changes are subject to pre-approval by the chief steward.
