STOCKTON 99 SPEEDWAY 2006 TIRE RULE

Approved Tires:Only tires purchased from an authorized dealer at the track and properly marked and recorded by Stockton 99 Speedway officials will be permitted in competition.

Tire: Hoosier

Size: 8.0-15

Requirements and Guidelines: Tires are to be bought the day of competition. You will be allowed only 4 that day (TWO 20/40 and TWO 20/70. All practice and spare tires must be purchased prior to competition day. Practice and spare tires may be purchased at the track after all qualifying tires have been selected.

Impound Area: A impound area will be set up. Qualifying tires must be picked by 2pm on a regular night, during special events times will be posted the week before. After the tires are checked into the INPOUND area, the area is closed to all competitors/crews unless permission is granted to enter from the Chief Tire Official. You will be notified when to pick up and install your tires.

Tire inspections and Usage: All qualifying tires will be marked and inspected for softness prior to qualification. Track durometer will be used for all tires. Tires may again be measured at any time before the main event. No qualified and marked tires will be changed unless deemed flat or unsafe by an official. Tires marked and allowed for competition must be on the car for all that cars events, including heat races if any, trophy dash and all main events.

Penalties and Fines: SOAKING OR SOFTENING OF TIRES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED, TOLERATED AND WILL DEALT WITH SEVERLY.
