Steve Johnson (4) shows a spectacular stream of sparks while Stockton's John Unger (83) blows his engine during Late Model Stock action Saturday night at Stockton 99 Speedway. The special 50 lap main event, with a guaranteed winning purse of $1,000.00 was won by Lathrop's Tim Gillit. Gillit, the NASCAR points leader, was also one of the four drivers to pre-qualify for the July 3 100-lapper, which will offer a $2,000.00 first prize. The win was Gillit's third of the season.
