99 Speedway Souvenir Store to Close

(Stockton, CA.) - 99 Speedway Souvenir Store, opened in 1997 at 6315 Pacific Ave, Stockton, Ca., has announced that it will close it's doors December 31 of 2006. Owner Chris Hunefeld said that without 99 Speedway open, the store could not make it on its own.

Originally selling Tee's and Hats only at the Speedway, Chris thought after the 1997 season, that NASCAR fans probably would like Souvenirs to give for Christmas.  He opened up the 99 Speedway Souvenir Store at 6315 Pacific Ave and that was almost 9 years ago! Offering Hats, shirts Team Jackets as well as flags, banners and NASCAR decorations for any fans room, the store had done well and was the oldest NASCAR Store in the Valley. The new addition to his original inventory was the huge die cast selection directly purchased from Action Performance, the Store being an Authorized Action Dealer. Hundreds of cars are on display as seen in the Store photos.
